Well WHAT IS UP. Its summertime here in Brazil right now, but because im way in the south, it does not feel like it. There is so much rain i have not seen the sun in days. SO. This week, our district got destroyed. I dont even know how, cause we had a baptism and 100 new people as a district. I AM A MAN OF MY WORD so we did the ice bucket in this already freezing weather 🧊.

NEXT WEEK this will not happen. ANYWAYS, our apartment is so much better now, we can move around freely all the rooms have been painted. LETS GOOO. Im not really sure what to talk about. Hmmm

This week was awesome. The work was good good good. Not a lot of people came to church but it was a sudden invite. Next week we'll see if we can get them to church, but they do seem really interested. Its hard sometimes because a LOT of people act interested when they dont really care at all. It did rain all week though, so we did have a bunch of lessons fall.

But yeah. My comps good, my house is good, the work is good 🤷‍♂️. Im getting a lot better at teaching and planning, but there are some interesting situations sometimes that im not sure how to deal with. I always just look back at Elder Wilson like what bro.

OH so theres this investigator Eddsonn (yes thats how you spell his name) and hes really awesome. Ive already talked about him before but hes the dude who lived in the U.S. and ran track at BYU. Hes got a very interesting life and hes got a ton of stories. The issue is that hes a lawyer and resolves a bunch of disputes so its really hard to get in touch with him. He was doing everything to come to church yesterday but wasnt able to because of work. Hes awesome though, he even said he wants to give us some ties 🕺🕺🕺🧞‍♂️. I think he wants us to talk to his wife first though, shes strong in the catholic church so he asked us to come by in the morning talk to them all at once. Super excited to work with them some more though.

HIGHS:

1. Living lavishly

3. Learning as MUCH as possible from Elder Viana

LOWS:

1. RAIN RAIN GO AWAY

2. Went from hot to ice

3. Eating a ton of food and still hungry? (Gordão)

GOALS:

OBEDIENCE 1. Follow the schedule EXACTLY. (Really good, i just need to eat on time. I usually just dont.) 2. Follow the mission rules. (Wear a suit to church!! I usually havent but its a rule my Mission President has set.) 3. WORD OF WISDOM (NO MORE MONSTERS. 😔 i know. And the worst one, Açaí. Only on P day. This will be my hardest hardest hardest goal. It will be my reward for working my butt off. I will EARN that Açaí.)

FAITH 1. Read ALL the scriptures (2nd Nephi 24 Portuguese BOM, AND im gonna start the New Testament in English, Matthew 9) 2. Read more preach my gospel every day (not that good this week, i just way prefer scriptures) 3. Pray ALWAYS (REALLY GOOD, ive even started praying before some contacts or lessons, the spirit is what converts.)

SKILLS 1. Learn Español (learning how to use and getting used to using more and more words, one of the Cubans thought I only spoke English and Spanish but not Portuguese, feels good actually.) 2. Learn to plan out a day (Im still not at the level of Elder Wilson he just plans days out super quickly and theyre always super efficient. I get really lost sometimes.) 3. Get better at first contacts (im walking up to people with a smile now. If im confident and happy even though im exhausted and discouraged, ive seen that it helps a lot) 4. TALK TO MORE MEMBERS!! (Looking at Elder Vianas example has been so good for me. We usually eat lunch together all 4 of us missionaries, but I have been consistently talking to a lot of the members here. LETS GO.)
