Im finally in the field!!! My first area is Guarapuava and my new comp is Elder Wilson‼️‼️ hes an american and hes pretty goated hes gonna train me for my first transfer but yeah. Also apparently my mission has a family tree thing going on, so ive just been "born" and Elder Wilson is my dad. Its pretty cool. People "die" once they get sent home or complete their mission. Ive only been in the field for 2 days but ive seen some interesting stuff with people

WHERE DO I BEGIN The flight to Curitiba was hecka chill and short. It was sad saying goodbye to my whole district, but i took my comps Elder Pacheco and Elder Ferreira with me so thats nice. The mission prez is awesome and they had a lot of food for us when we got there. In Curitiba all the new missionaries had to train for like 2 days before they got in the field, so i was in these classes or so all day. Until i finally left to Guarapuava.

Guarapuava is awesome. My house is in the center of the city or town or whatever, butttt its not the BEST place ive lived in. Im cramped up with 4 others in this small apartment with only one bathroom. Bruh bruh bruh bruh. Anyways im getting adjusted and got right to work. My first day was also pretty scary. We went to teach a man and their mom came out, and she was in desperation. We walked in and she explained that he had drunken all night and was passed out in bed. She wanted us to talk to him and stuff. Anyways, she goes to wake him up. His eyes are wide open and glassed over. She shakes him for like a minute and he doesnt move. Me and my comp thought he was dead and i was tapping his shoulder to get him to call an ambulance. Very scary, but he started moving and he was fine.

HIGHS:

1. I met some of the people who Elder Wilson had been teaching. They were all great, and some of them were from hispanic countries, apparently theres a lot of people who have moved here.

2. Met a bunch of members and they FED ME GOOD. Went to my first member lunch and they gave out so much food and even ice cream for dessert. That was so awesome.

3. My companion is locked in with baptism dates and there are a lot of people who we are teaching on date for baptism. Theres one baptism that im not really sure about though.

LOWS:

1. i cant remember anyones name. Im meeting so many different members and people and elders that its so hard to remember everyones name. i want to connect with these people more personally but i cant do that if i dont know their name

2. this house is disgustinggg and weve got no time in the day to clean it. Theres 4 in a house meant for 2 and its always really dirty.

3. NOT A LOT OF TIME LEFT but uhhh yeah i miss home a lot and stuff and im still sick like i have been for the past entire mission so yeah
